A taste of Ilocs at CMH Ilocos Empanada - 1st Stopover at The Station Maginhawa
A truly stressful day it was for me that I literally almost crawl my way to Maginhawa street in Quezon City because of the heaviest traffic I encountered along with the moderate rainfall and the MRT-maintenance-whatever, to add with it.
I was ultimately late with the said meeting time we have, however when we finally arrived at The Station Maginhawa the feeling I have had suddenly disappear. The ambiance and vibe of the place was cool and hip.
And for our first stop, it was..
CMH ILOCOS EMPANADA greeted us to start this Foodie Night!
Ilocos Empanadas are those gyoza-shaped orangey folded that got bigger and more Pinoy. What I love about it is that all the flavors were like collaborating with each other along with the vinegar.
Uhmmm.. then with every bite of this warm freshly cooked goodness that's dancing in flavors in your mouth.
Not just that, they had stepped up the game with alternative flavors available, from Chicken, Adobo, Pork, and Bagnet (P65)
Another thing that was served was the "Bagnet ngayon ka lang?", a platter of crispy porky bagnets (P150), with Ilocos chichacorn. You need not go to Vigan anymore 'cause they brought it here alreadyyyy!
Thank you for having us! Along with the team Captain Aldous!
Visit CMH ILOCOS EMPANADA at The Station in Maginhawa their kiosk is just in front ;)
