Timeline
Do you realize why are you so eager in everything that society is pushing you into?
Let me borrow some of your time to ponder about life's timeline, God's timeline, and whatnot.
Going back to the verse in Rom. 12:2,
"Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."
Let's say, Career. Your expectation for yourself doesn't meet the current situation you're in. Maybe this isn't still what you wanted. Looking for something that could sustain you? Bigger salary, greener pasture? Running your dream job? Or do you just have mixed emotions about your career that you haven't determined what you really want yet?
That's where I realized that I couldn't all do it by myself (and sing "all by myse-eeyeeeelfff"). And that's where I knew that I need God in this aspect of my life. I need Him to take over. Likewise, maybe He was also in the process of making you ready when the 'right' time comes.

Another was in the aspect of LOVE. Most of the time we were pressured by society more so by our friends or family to be involved in a relationship. I don't understand why they are all too excited or impatient and that they worry too much. Don't you realize that only society has been stuffing us with wrong connotations about it? By this time frame you need to get married, you need to bear a child for women, or just settle down with someone. So on and so forth.
Relate? Yes. Oh well, it is true, we are not getting any younger. BUT are you too excited to let God make your "best" love story? Are you too eager that you're being blinded by your emotions or moreover your hormones? Please don't.
Why do you set yourself a timer for those things? Hey, stop procrastinating. May lakad? Chill. There is a time for everything (Ecc 3:1-8).
So now we realize that there's nothing wrong with being chill. The bible says that there is a time for everything in this world. Kalma lang tayo bes!
My prayer is that God's timeline will be my life's timeline. So must you!
Take note that He already planned your life even when you are still a dot in this universe. So don't be overly excited and don't judge anyone who doesn't match your timeline cause you don't know anything, you don't know what Christ has in store for him or her, or for you and me.
Just pray that His plan would be your heart's desire. Remember, the plan of the Lord is higher than our plan for ourselves. Instead, focus yourself on God and everything will follow in His 'right' time (Prov16:3).
