#JACKIEATS | 7 FLAVORS BUFFET AND ALA CARTE, San Juan City

Another buffet dining experience I got here in 7 Flavors. Located in Addition Hills, which was very near to Wilson street in San Juan City. 

What was it about this buffet restaurant? Well, I think it is because it's one of the business ventures of the well-known "Ping, ping, ping, ping!" host and Chef, Boy Logro. But aside from that, the name of 7 flavors is not just something. As they said, it is named 7 Flavors because of the 7 tastes you'll find in food; salty, sweet, sour, spicy, bitter, umami, and astringent. What a variety of flavors right? And these flavors are what you'll look for in a buffet dining experience for me not really the last flavor though.

Okay, so what you'll be expecting with this buffet and dining place?

They have Filipino, Japanese, Chinese, Western, and some Asian fusions to make it more interesting.

The buffet scene is found on the 2nd floor of the building and on the first floor it is for their ala carte dining. Their buffet section is on one side of the floor and everything else was the dining area. I think that helps the coziness of the place to put the buffet area on one side only.

The price for Lunch Buffet on weekdays is P399; for Dinner Buffet it's P499 and on weekends (Friday to Sunday) including holidays is P599 for both Lunch and Dinner Buffet.

Here's what they have for a LUNCH BUFFET

Starting this with a warm Egg drop soup and bread section, was like something you'd wanna wake up with and warm your sleepy head.

Then there's their different variety of salad or you could make your own according to your preference. My favorite among the appetizers was the potato croquet because I've tasted some real potatoes over there and not just flour and some flavorings. Yum!

Another was Taco corner which is is something that you could munch before or after the mains. The taco-ness was captured through the flavors of the ground beef mixture tomatoes, coleslaw, and cheese and I like the fact that they made their own taco shells.

From the mains, what I like most was the Tofu Sisig, I didn't expect too much from it by looking at it but it's just too different from its taste, but I like it.

It's good that they had a variety of beef, chicken, pork, and seafood for their mains.

They also have a Japanese section which has 3 varieties of maki and they had a unique one that they recommended to me was the Fried Maki, but it is a bit hard to chew on.

Also, drinks are unlimited.

So these are my plates, but that's not only what I've pigged out about, there's more behind the camera. Haha

Of course the buffet wouldn't be complete without sweets. Head on to the desserts section there's Brownies, Mango Pannacotta, Rum Balls, Maja Blanca, Turon, Cream Puff, and Mango with Tapioca.

Of course, Filipino dessert is completed with Halo-Halo and Ice Cream.

Although, the array and variety of food that they serve was not that plenty but moreover I still look forward to this one to develop the menu more and have something that would make customers keep coming. Or something in reference to their name. Nevertheless, the place is nice and cozy, with no flocks of people lining up and going around, it's not too busy and noisy, so better keep it at that.
