#JACKIEWANDERS | LOS ARCOS DE HERMANO, SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, BULACAN

What time is it? It's SUMMER TIME! First sun exposure this summer spent at Los Arcos De Hermano at San Jose Del Monte in Bulacan which was just 20 minutes away from the metro (SM Fairview to be exact) of course without traffic.

As part of their 4th year anniversary I am privileged to be invited to experience what they have to offer. I was excited of course, who wouldn't wanna try a resort offered to them? And be with other bloggers who turned out to be new friends.

Hawaiian luau party was the theme, there's fire dancers, live band, conga drummers performed alternately every hour or two by the pool every weekends of their anniversary month.

Meanwhile, we were provided with a simple room that was priced at P3,000 (non-poolside) good for 4 persons with two double beds, towels, soap, and toothbrush were also complimentary.
Tip: they doesn't have a room service water (opposite to what I expect) so just bring your own. Or if you forgot (like me) you can buy a bottled water, costs  P25 (not over priced thankfully unlike in other resorts).

Room Rates:

Twin Sharing (good for 2): P2,000 poolside view with veranda
Twin Sharing (good for 2): P1,800 non-poolside view
Good for 4: P3,200 poolside; P3,000 non-poolside
Good for 6: P5,200 (3 double sized bed)
Good for 8: P7,000 (4 double sized bed) with veranda

*Standard check-in & check-out time: 1pm-12pm (23hrs)
**Earlier than 1pm will be considered as DayTour (until 5pm ONLY)

So after some stretching and settling, let's see what else Los Arcos De Hermano have in store?

Swimming Pools

The infinity pool
Kiddie pool
Private pool
Two New Pools called Serenity Pool
They have more than what I expect. One large Infinity pool, one for kids, one for private functions. And there are two awesome (not to mention huge) pool that are yet to be opened to the public called Serenity pool
And that was one of the highlight of this trip (other than bond with other bloggers and also the owner over late lunch) was letting us have the first dips with that pool. Yes! I felt like I was in a private resort, I can swim and float without bumping into anyone because we got that huge pool for ourselves. Nice! Really nice and relaxing!

Event Venues

One of this place's boasts about was their events place. Well, I guess they must really be proud for being awarded as one of the best events venue in Bulacan, I heard. Located on the other side/part of the resort is their venue for events which is far enough from the happenings (more like party) of those in the pool.

Along with it are the function halls --Francisco Hall, Ng Lio Hall and Erlinda Hermano Hall-- just some of the events halls they have that could house 200 people. There's also a Bridal and Jr Suite, Chapel and the Paradise Garden; very nice setting for a wedding.
If you happen to be from the north--Bulacan most specially--you may want to consider their venue for your life events, be it wedding, debut, birthday or anniversary.

Camping Facility

A big place good for camping events, team building or family camping. They have things or equipments that could be used for activities or you could utilize the huge area to make your own activities just don't violate some guidelines. You can rent a tent or bring your own, well it's up to you!

Camp Site Rates:
P400/head - 1pm - 12 noon
(yep! 23 hours of unlimited campsite usage)

Petting Zoo & Kid's Playground

They also have petting zoo with a rabbit, some ducks and birds and a playground for the kids and kids at heart. I got to ride in the swing (while reminiscing childhood days with my blogger friend Louisse--uy link back haha) for a while and roam around the playground.

Food Bistro

They had a food bistro as a concessionaire inside the resort serving home cooked meals (picture above) but I find it average-canteen-like meals. Instead, I really suggest you bring your own food, drinks and snacks; you could also grill and eat your heart out with family and friends while enjoying your weekend away. Good news: No corkage fee!
But wait, inspite of that they had a pretty nice al fresco dining area parallel to it and could also serve as tambayan where you could get a nice connection to the WIFI. Hihi. #bloggersdilemma

Imagine having a dip in the pool and having some fresh coconut courtesy of the owner. Thank You Cheena for letting us stay in Los Arcos and for being so friendly! Cheers to new friendships!

My one and only picture from this place courtesy of my dear friend Louisse. Thank you!

  1. Seems to be a good summer party. Few months ago, I arranged a holiday party by inviting my family and friends at one of the lovely San Francisco event venues. Decorated the venue and had amazing time with them all. Enjoyed very much there.
